Academic Center
This building houses all of our classrooms plus a music and art center. It's a 17,000 square foot two story building with 14 classrooms with state of the art technology. It connects to the dorms via “the Atrium” so students and staff can easily move between the dorm and classrooms.

Murfey Hall
Entering the main entrance to this residence hall is a 3-story timber frame foyer and large co-ed student lounge with views of Sugarloaf to the South and Bigelow to the North. This home to CVA Big Dog boarding students houses 84 student beds and 6 faculty apartments.

Antigravity Complex Center
CVA student-athletes defy gravity every day in our Anti-Gravity Complex (AGC). Train year-round on our Olympic-quality trampolines, skate park and bowl, weight room, aerobics room, climbing wall, and indoor court. Combining controlled anti-gravity with great coaching CVA student-athletes add new tricks and sharpen their technique in the AGC - a one of a kind facility.

Capricorn
When CVA first opened its doors in 1982 the Capricorn was the school's residential, academic and athletic facility. Throughout the schools 25 plus year history the Capricorn, once a ski dorm, has served many purposes. This facility is now home to administrative and coach offices, a dining area, and day room space for athletes and coaches.

The Podium Project
CVA/Colby Training Venue On December 27th, 2022 the CVA Colby T-bar opened. The new, high-speed surface lift, situated between a widened Competition Hill and the Narrow Gauge trail, coupled with state-of-the-art snowmaking, provides an ideal training environment for competitive skiers and snowboarders.
The Narrow Gauge Trail
Alpine Racing Sugarloaf has the largest vertical drop of any ski area East of the Rockies as well as unparalleled support for competitions and training. The Narrow Gauge Trail is one of the only FIS-certified downhill courses in the East and has World Cups and National Championships.
U.S. Ski & Snowboard Certified Mogul Course
Freestyle Moguls Freestyle moguls athletes train on our U.S. Ski & Snowboard certified mogul course on Skidder.
Sugarloaf Terrain Parks
Snowboard & Freestyle Skiing CVA park snowboarders and freeskiers train in Sugarloaf’s 6 terrain parks, which include a variety snow features, jib features, and a robust jump line.

A custom cross course, designed by two-time Olympic gold medalist,
Seth Wescott CVA ’94, provides the perfect venue to hone all your racing skills. USASA, FIS, and NorAm events are held on this course each year.
Brackett Basin, Burnt Mountain, and the High Peaks of Western Maine
Backcountry Skiing & Snowboarding Brackett Basin and Burnt Mountain offer over 650 acres of backcountry-style glades including steeps, chutes and cliffs.
